CHARCOAL
Charcoal is my drawing medium of choice – the wonderful rich blackness of this medium is easy to manipulate and achieve a very rewarding result. I love that I can work with the soft charcoal sticks for broader areas and switch to using the charcoal pencils for more detail and depth. The clean lines and the simplicity of black and white allows for a very striking image.
I have created a range of drawings over the years which has resulted in THE JENNY MALLON COLLECTION. This is a select range of charcoal images that have been professionally scanned and printed onto canvas or paper offering a more affordable range of art to the budget conscious art lover. My charcoal work includes animals, wildlife, plants, aloes, trees, cityscapes and portraits.
